Blythe, California

And so it is.... Nick and I will be moving to Blythe, California!!! Nick FINALLY got a full time job! He has been attending the Police Academy at Weber State and only has one month left.  However, he got offered a job with Fed Ex making more money. He won't have to work Holidays, nights or weekends! I'll actually get to see him! We are so excited to start on the new adventure together! Nick will report on the 14th of Nov.  He has to do a few weeks of training and then I will move out probably the first week in December.  I don't have a job out there yet but we are going to drive out on the 4th and 5th to look for a house and find me a job... Hopefully! I will have to re-test to get my California state license but I was told that as long as you are in the process of getting the new license you can still work... so we'll cross our fingers I can find somewhere! I'm sure it will be hard living without family but we have each other and Roxy and that's all that matters!

With him working for Fed Ex, we get to fly with a discount. If that is the case, I'm sure I'll be making several trips home....Mom says I have to fly home once a month so I can do her hair and nails! lol!

Our New Home!!

Nick and I moved into My parents basement the first of July.  My parents were so nice and Finished half of their basement for us so we have a brand new house!! I love it! Thanks Mom and Dad!

Bear Lake!

For the 4th of July Nick and I decided to go to Bear Lake. We left on Friday morning and arrived around 3ish.  We decided to stay at the KOA so we could take Roxy with us! We got there and set up our sweet tent that we got for our wedding! 

Saturday Morning we woke up and set up our stove to cook us some breakfast....... After 30 mins trying to figure out why the stove wouldn't work, we gave up and decided to cook over the fire.  

So I got in our cooler to get our eggs and bacon out and the carton from the eggs had gotten all wet and separated itself from the eggs!!!!

After an hour and a half we finally got to eat our yummy food!!! It turned out so yummy!!

After breakfast we went to the lake! We had to drive clear on the north end of the lake where they would allow dogs on the beach.  The water was SO SO high that all of the beaches were nasty so we got to set up in the nasty sandy weeds!

but when we went swimming she LOVED it (only when we were in the shallow WARMER water though)!

The plan was to come home on Monday.  Sunday came and we didn't want to go to the lake again and we couldn't take Roxy with us to the Ice Caves so we decided to go home a day early!  I didn't really have much sleep while we were there but hey.... I went camping for the first time since GIRLS CAMP!! If you know me, you know I HATE camping so I thought that I did a pretty good job! lol! ( The KOA's have showers!) Although it didn't go perfectly we still had a really good time and it was nice to be able to spend all that time with Nicky and Roxy!

A New Beginning!

Nick and I just moved out of our FIRST home together into my parents basement and Nick will be starting the police academy next month so I decided this was a good time to FINALLY learn how to blog! I LOVE our NEW house! My parents were SO GENEROUS to finish their basement for us so we can save some money! We have 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and a room where I put a Nail Salon and my Scentsy business!
