For the 4th of July Nick and I decided to go to Bear Lake. We left on Friday morning and arrived around 3ish. We decided to stay at the KOA so we could take Roxy with us! We got there and set up our sweet tent that we got for our wedding!
Saturday Morning we woke up and set up our stove to cook us some breakfast....... After 30 mins trying to figure out why the stove wouldn't work, we gave up and decided to cook over the fire.
So I got in our cooler to get our eggs and bacon out and the carton from the eggs had gotten all wet and separated itself from the eggs!!!!

After an hour and a half we finally got to eat our yummy food!!! It turned out so yummy!!
After breakfast we went to the lake! We had to drive clear on the north end of the lake where they would allow dogs on the beach. The water was SO SO high that all of the beaches were nasty so we got to set up in the nasty sandy weeds!

but when we went swimming she LOVED it (only when we were in the shallow WARMER water though)!
The plan was to come home on Monday. Sunday came and we didn't want to go to the lake again and we couldn't take Roxy with us to the Ice Caves so we decided to go home a day early! I didn't really have much sleep while we were there but hey.... I went camping for the first time since GIRLS CAMP!! If you know me, you know I HATE camping so I thought that I did a pretty good job! lol! ( The KOA's have showers!) Although it didn't go perfectly we still had a really good time and it was nice to be able to spend all that time with Nicky and Roxy!
