34 weeks!! WE have a DATE!!

This week has been a pretty good week! Nothing too crazy going on. Doctor appointments were on Thursday.  I had my EEG test done on my brain. It was super boring and I had like 20 nasty glue dots in my hair when I got done. They stuck a bunch of wires to my head and then I had to sit there with my eyes closed for 15 mins. I won't find out anything until the 14th but I'm sure all is fine! Then I had baby's doctor appointment, and we have a date!!!!! FEBRUARY 22nd!! Less than a month away!! CRAZY!! Everything with the baby is good! Her heartbeat sounds good, she is measuring good size, and doc says her head is down! I am scheduled to go back in 2 weeks, then the next week I will find out my test results, and then the next week, WE'LL HAVE A BABY!!! I am getting more and more nervous everyday it gets closer! I'm SO EXCITED to meet her but I'm TERRIFIED to be a mommy! I'm glad I have Nick to keep me calm! He is BEYOND excited to be a daddy! 

How far along? 34 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: 2 more lbs... getting huge!
Sleep: Great!!! I have been taking sleeping pills! ;)
Best moment this week: Finding out when baby will be here!
Miss anything? My ribs not hurting
Food cravings: Anything really
Anything making you queasy or sick: No
Belly button in or out? Still in!!
Movement: Lots of little twitches
Body Aches: My tummy is sore from her kicking me!
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy!

32 weeks, 33 weeks and Baby Shower!!

32 weeks... This week was SUPER ROUGH! Hence I'm late on the blog post! I had 5 migraines in 4 days! It was HORRIBLE! I went to the doctor to make sure everything was ok with the baby, and it is! They were worried that my blood pressure was high but it turned out to be great. He was, however, concerned with the amount of migraines I had in a row so he wanted me to go to a neurologist. (More about that later on..) It was super scary because I've never had that happen to me before, I am just happy that everything is ok with the baby!

 

 

 

How far along? 32 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: Probably gained a couple more lbs....
Sleep: Not good... woke up with migraines 5 too many times :(
Best moment this week: Every second that I didn't have a migraine 
Miss anything? My Mom... you always want your mommy when your sick 
Food cravings: nothing in particular
Anything making you queasy or sick: No
Belly button in or out? Still in!!
Movement:  Lots! she is becoming a kicker!
Body Aches: Not too bad this week.. just tired
Happy or moody most of the time: Moody cuz of the stupid migraines

33 weeks!!! This week was MUCH better than last week! I got the BEST surprise EVER! I had my baby shower on Tuesday and my mom and grandma showed up and I had NO IDEA they were coming!!! It was the BEST surprise! They got my reaction on video and it is HILARIOUS!  I can't get it on here but it is on Facebook. I make the ugliest face and then I look like a big fat heffer running! Its just great! HA!  The shower was PERFECT! Kim, Margret and Allyson did SO much to make it great! Nick and I are SO grateful for everyone that came and spoiled us! We got lots of super cute stuff and lots of diapers!!!! Thank you, Thank you everyone!! Here are some pictures of all the cute things they did....

My mom and grandma came on Tuesady and Stayed until today, Saturday! I had to work on Wednesday so they came out to the salon to visit and see good ole' Quartzsite! Then after work we played cards all night long and had a super fun time!!! Thursday was my Neurology appointment in Yuma. So we headed out early and took the exciting drive to Yuma. My appointment went well. The doctor just said that it is common to get migraines like that toward the end of pregnancy and didn't seem too concerned with anything. I do have to have an EEG test done to test the brain waves to see if I am prone to seizures or anything.. I'm pretty sure I'm not and all of these have just been because of hormones but its better to be safe than sorry. After my appointment we went to lunch and did a little shopping and then took the exciting drive home! Then we played cards again!!! It was a good day!
On Friday we didn't have plans so we decided to go to Lake Havasu!  We stopped in Parker on the way and went to the Casino. We all put in a couple dollars in the slots.. I lost mine, mom lost hers and grandma won $2.85!!! Big winner! haha! We went to Red Robin for lunch, which was FABULOUS, and then we went and saw the London Bridge. My mom and grandma LOVED havasu... its really pretty there! Then we did some shopping and came home and, you guessed it, played cards again!! I LOVE playing cards so it was so nice having them here to play with!!! Nick was a good sport and played with us with very little complaining!!!
I had SO MUCH fun having them here and I'm SO GRATEFUL they could come!! I can't wait until we can move closer to home and be able to spend more time with them again! I will see my mom again though in 6 weeks, when baby comes!!! :)



How far along? 33 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: Gained 3 more lbs.. :/ kinda freakin me out, I hope its all baby weight and water!
Sleep: Much better... I have been taking sleeping pills though, just so I don't wake up with anxiety.
Best moment this week: Having my mom and grandma here!
Miss anything?  My family... Not my mom cuz I got to spend the week with her!! But I miss everyone else
Food cravings: Red Robin.. and I got to go!!!

Body Aches: I've started getting a bad pain in my lower belly at night... weird but it goes away by morning

31 Weeks... And BABY HAS A NAME!!!!

     This week hasn't been too eventful! It was New Years and we didn't do a darn thing! We went to dinner to a little hole in the wall, Chinese place, that was interesting to say the least. Some stupid drunk guys came in and sat RIGHT behind us and were dropping the f-bomb like crazy and made it very unpleasant. There was another family there and the dad went over and asked them to watch their language because his 6 year old daughter was there and then they almost got in a fight. Luckily we were about done and didn't have to stay for much longer. I was kinda scurred! haha! After that, we just went home. I fell asleep at 8:30 and Nick stayed up and played video games and then at 11:50 I just happened to wake up and Nick had fallen asleep on the floor, watching tv.  So we turned on the New York ball drop and had a whole 10 mins of excitement and then we went to bed! HA! We are super lame!! New Years Day we sat around the house and didn't do anything either! It was super boring! haha! O well! Next year will be more exciting I'm sure!! I am starting to get REALLY BUSY at the salon! All the snow birds are finally coming down.  The big RV show is in 2 weeks and I just know I'm going to be SLAMMED! Its good for the money but I have to take it easy because I get home and I can't do a blasted thing because I'm SO tired from being on my feet all day! My boss is really good to me and always makes sure that I'm ok and not over doing it! :)  I'm working until the 13th of Feb. so that's only 6 more weeks! I can do it!!! Nick is glad the busy season is over! He worked some pretty late hours during Christmas and is glad it is finally over! He starts school up again on the 14th! He is going to be taking History this semester! (Because he is on a grant, he can only take one class, weird, I know) Hopefully it goes better than his Math class!
     I went to the doctor on Wednesday, hoping for a date but the doc said 3 more weeks. Baby's heartbeat sounded great and he didn't really have anything else to say!  Nick and I decided that since we get to pick the day we have her, we are going with the 28th! So when I go back in 3 weeks, we're going to shoot for the 28th and hope that the doctor will say ok!
     We have been having a hard time coming up with a name but.....BABY HAS A NAME!!  
PHYSC... We are keeping it a secret until she is born!! :)  Everyone will just have to wait and see!!! :) I'm just glad that I could finally decide!!!!

How far along? 31 Weeks

Total weight gain/loss: I gained SIX POUNDS!! HOLY MERCY! I'm still only 3 lbs over my pre-weight but holy moly, 6 lbs is A LOT!
Sleep: Not so great this week. My heart burn is keeping me up :(
Best moment this week: Got to hear baby's heart beat!
Miss anything? Good Restaurants.. Taco Time, Training Table, Red Robin, Robintinos...
Food cravings: Sweets this week!! I don't usually crave cookies or chocolate but this week I have!
Anything making you queasy or sick: No
Belly button in or out? Still in!!
Movement:  Lots! And she has had the hic-ups A LOT!
Body Aches: Everything hurts now :( I'm starting to get pretty uncomfortable and the heart burn is AWFUL!
